It is not an exaggeration to say that this is the closest I have ever come or will ever come to fame. I am sorry for my mega overreaction. I was actually making a weird shrieking sound through my teeth that caused me to drool on my keyboard...I see I managed to post about the drool, but neglected the shift button for the i. Forgive me my temporary loss of the cool calm and collected writing style I am known for.

ReplyDeleteThanks Gwennie. The elation has officially passed...the rest of the bloggers in the line up were bona fide home decorating blogs with amazing photo skills, and all of them possessed the wherewithal and the foresight to forgo posting pics of themselves looking like me.

Well, I sort of made a promise that I wouldn't post anything new until I took care of some business. I got a stat report, I haven't checked it since like the whole Atmos thing (good times)so I looked it over. It showed way too many page loads for a week of no new posts, so I looked to see where they were coming from. I didn't get it at first, I thought it was one of you jesters gettin me.
I already have a Mother's Day post scheduled to publish at midnight so I am going to schedule one about your HGTV hit later on Sunday, is that ok with you? I would like to celebrate what a great job you did.

I don't know what I expected (maybe, "I know Blossom personally, and I can vouch for the fact that she doesn't *always* go to the store dressed like a poor man's Edie Beale.")But what you wrote was so much better, I love jokes that virtually no one will get. This is so great! And, let me remind you of the fact that IF you had a blog like all those others that just have nice pictures and decorating advice and not silly, real you funny kinda stuff, we wouldn't be here. SO, if they don't comment- don't take it personally. They may not get it. Doing things just to keep up the appearance & not exposing the real you is very boring and do you really want to blog or live to please other people? I think sometimes it is brave to be the rebel! I ALSO think that my comments are WAY TOO LONG. I really do have friends I talk to, so don't feel sorry for me. hee hee I just need to start using that multiple comment method, so it spreads out my ramblings.
