GROWLLLLLLLLL
This is the second time I have planted my peas and the birds are eating them before they even sprout. The weather is sucking big time and nothing is coming up....no spinach , no corn barely any carrots......what the flip?
and that is all I gotta say about that!

oh and when i call government agencies, i am tired of listening to friggin FRENCH!
ReplyDeleteWhen I call government agencies, I am tired of listening to Spanish.
ReplyDeleteLet it out girls. Let it out.
ReplyDeleteI just realized that I have visited several blogs recently that I don't think I left comments on. On Alaina's I was too busy showing hubs how hard that girl works and what she can get done...don't know if I commented there or not. On Amy's I read her post and then went to check out a link to her sisters vintage clothes site... (if only I were rich) I can't remember if I commented there or not. I can think of others too. TS's movie review...I think I got called to help someone on the potty...I shouldn't say "someone" it was the toddler...the ten year old has had that figured out for years. Nothing left to do but go back and check them all. I have got to stop being so easily distracted!
At least someone answered the phone and they weren't on the can. hahahaha
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry about your garden issues! At least somebody is eating well (the birds!) My kids helped daddy plant the garden this year & all they put in were onions & potatoes. I was kinda hoping for a little more variety. I may have to be involved next year.
ReplyDeleteP.S. I love the new look on chit chat! I've been preoccupied with life issues & haven't taken the time to comment. But, I always love checking in to see what's up with you girls.
The Cotton Ball posted: Poop and Cranberry posted Pooed!
ReplyDeleteI am still having sporadic issues with leaving comments. Please don't be offended if you see my footprints on your stats but no words left behind.
TS said nice things (kinda) about me on that post that I didn't comment on earlier. Turns out I didn't even get to read the whole thing. I'm so glad I decided to backtrack...I always try to post comments when I read anything...imagine if the one time I didn't comment on a post of his, was the time he said something (sorta) nice about me. He'd be like, "What up with that poop? I'm PO'd!"
ReplyDeleteBerries, being the gardener that I am I wish I could pull a trick out to help you. But alas I have none, only the scarecrow you see in the movies the aluminum pie plates hanging on string across the garden. I have to resort to throwing my shoes at the BAD bunnies eating my flowers.
ReplyDeleteMaybe you could train the housebound cat to eat birdies, then again, he is too smart, he knows where to go and he won't have to work for his food. I wish you luck my friend.
It sure is quiet without Dawn, how long you figure she is gone for, or is stupid butt hiding her too.
ReplyDeleteoh I have no problem with my cats. I have 4 and only one is an idoor cat. The rest keep leaving mice, an occasional rat, and baby bunnies on my door steps. Geez at any given moment there is some entrail at any of my 3 doors...they have not come home with the birds for awhile...
ReplyDeleteI will try the peas again and somehow cover them and tomorrow I have to net the strawberries.
where is Dawn????
Speaking of missing gems... where is Oli? We're about to have to do a head count aren't we? Seems like that cattle rustler's been pinching more than just cows.
ReplyDeleteHalf-pint, I have a fear of the same thing in gardening life, that I'll get it all going and some creature besides me will eat it straight out of the beds, or one of our famous Texas water-restriction riddled droughts will strike right as the little green shoots begin to appear. I am determined to overcome these fears, but I am so empathetic to your frustration! Dang birds, stupid weather - can't a girl just get a little cooperation?
