Week of the whiner, that's what this is. And I'm "it".
Here's the thought I'd like to leave you with, students of language:

ReplyDeleteWord back, Brainylaneygirl, love you, irregardless.
I've gotten better with not using it over the years but I still slip up occasionally.
ReplyDeleteOh you wanna know what pisses me off??????
ReplyDeleteWhen people us loose for lose........ggggrrrooowwllll. The word went in place of came......
Irregardless is an informal term meaning regardless or irrespective, which has caused controversy since it first appeared in the early twentieth century. Most dictionaries list it as "incorrect" or "nonstandard".
ReplyDeleteI do not think I have used this word, I just thought I would borrow some definition from GOOGLE-Wikipedia and no I did not ask for permission to copy.
Gwenderella ha, funny, you got her nose out of a book. Now under what rock might the cotton ball be hiding.
After a WHOLE day at the amusement park with 4 adults and 5 children, yes they did out number us, I could use a good laugh. Thank you ladies.
Did you loose any of them?
ReplyDeleteya looser! I cannot even spell "use".
ReplyDeleteNo but I think my husband could have dunked the little one in the pool SEVERAL times, he is in the winny stage and it is killing my husband. Oh but the kids had fun and the adults even went on a few rides. Enough to know which ones they would not be going on again.
ReplyDeleteBerries, you little clever thing, yer no looser.
ReplyDeleteAlaina, I owe my crew a long ago promised trip to some kind of ride park thingy - but I'm scared. I'm hoping if I put it off long enough my girls will be tall enough to ride by themselves.
