All The Girls Chit Chat

Dude!

Watch this, totally - beware, though, it's Youtube crack, you won't be able to stop once you start.

Totally kid safe, except for a randy sheep named Frederick (he's not in this episode, I think it's episode 5). You'll have to decide for yourself if it's a conversation you're prepared to have with your five year old. I told mine Frederick was in love. That's all I'll say.

Enjoy! Then go kiss your washing machine. And hug your refrigerator. Amen.

  1. Thank you for sharing this! My husband and kids are going to love it! Here in a couple of weeks Jason should start getting home in time to watch a little tv with the kids before bed. It's kind of our winter thing.

  2. I love that the episodes are so clearly numbered. Now I just need to figure out how to hook my computer up to the tv so we can maintain a little personal space while viewing.

  3. I'd like to watch it but my computer decided not to produce any sound...

Have you ever watched Pioneer Quest?

  4. Oh Canada did this on Pioneer Quest....they had to live on the Canadian Prairie for one year...and do it ALL THEMSELVES!!!!!!!!!!!!! They started with a wagon of stuff like Laura Ingalls did...and make their own home and everything.....all for 100,000 dollars and they did it!!

    Obviously my sound works.

  5. I watched some of it and I will come back and watch more. Could you do it, I think I could, I grew up on a farm with cows, chickens, pigs, horses, goats. I had to get up before school and milk goats feed animals. I have worked my fathers hay farm, potato, cows. I could give up the dishwasher but not the washing machine. I have no idea how Pinkie does it.

  6. CB, my husband likes it as much as the kids do, though he doesn't share our preoccupation with it. Oh well, I guess somebody has to get some work done around here.

    What's personal space?

Pinkie, I'll check out Pioneer Quest, definitely.

Alania, I think - I think - I could eventually get the hang of it. Except for the laundry. I've already got an idea for an agitator barrel (kind of like the tumbler composters) should the need arise. You can never be too prepared.

  7. no way could I do it, no way! There was a time that I was DESPERATE to move away from town, I needed some of that PERSONAL SPACE, ykwim? Well no way could we afford to build on the land of ours that we wanted too. mostly because of getting electricity and city water to the site. Anyway i had my husband convinced (no I didn't) that I could be a homesteader. sawdust toilet, no electricity, etc. Not to mention that we would build our own house out of hay bales but live in the barn until we got it done. Those were my darkest days, when a life like that meant ESCAPE! So sad.
