I don't think you have to have a blog I think you just have to sign up a google account, and all you need for that is email. We have 100 openings....

ReplyDeleteWell Deborah does have a blog...it's just not with blogger, now that I think of it I know I've seen nonblogger blogs in peoples sidebars.
Becky doesn't have a blog yet...she might want to contribute to this one as a way of getting her feet wet? Ok I'm going to stop thinking for everyone else RIGHT NOW...y'all all are big girls.
I think you two instigators should have control of the settings etc. and final say on any controversary that might come up. Not that I'd expect any. It sounds like that's how you set it up. I'm guessing contibutors can post but not mess with layout and sidebars and such right?
ReplyDeleteThe only thing I'm worried about is trying to keep up with several threads of comments on various posts! I don't multi-task well!
I think a personal note at the blogs or emails along with the contributor invitaion might be helpful. I almost didn't click on it 'cause I've seen some wierd stuff clicking on links I'm not familiar with.
Yeah Dawn...that's kinda my responsibility that I'm shirking right now. I do need to get on that. I'm going to post sometime before I leave town and I'll also send out emails to everyone who has an email listed.....
ReplyDeleteOne concern I have is that if there are days that a lot of us are posting...and I hope there are, that is the idea anyway....what about people who heavily rely on there dashboard to see if they have blog posts to read....on manic Monday we ended up with like 62 comments...granted most of those would still be comments I think and not stand alone post, but we could potentially really crowd out other blogs...I think we won't have to worry about that for a while though....I guess we will just have to experiment and see what needs tweaking and where.
Speaking of needing tweeking....somebody post something will ya? Lets get that pic of me OFF OF THERE!!!
